Online poker gets licensing in Nevada

The news were broken out by the Control Board chairman – Mark Lipparelli, who communicated to the attendees of the “US internet gaming laws” conference, which was held at the Aria Resort and Casino.
Applications from brick-and-mortar casinos who already hold a license will benefit from faster proceedings when applying compared to others who are not established yet. And of those who apply and are accepted, they will only be allowed to offer their services to the state. Players from other states and regions would not be able to access the Nevada Poker sites, essentially enforcing a regional specific demographic to the poker room’s clientele. Lipparelli also added that this regional restriction might also be temporary suggesting that interstate poker will also become a reality eventually.
