With less than four weeks to go, the Malta Poker Seminar 2009 is nearing fruition. The educational event for aspiring poker winners is scheduled for the 18th & 19th April 2009. The organisers, Malta Poker Events, have commented that the event ‘will attract players from different nationalities with the aim of improving their game throughout a week-end of educational seminars’.
Speakers will share their wealth of knowledge with the attendees in order for them to improve the quality of their poker skills, or to simply reduce the errors they commit at the felt.
The event is headlined by WSOP bracelet winner, a.k.a ‘Champion of the Champions’, Ron Rose, who will be addressing topics related to ‘How to become a Winning No-Limit Tournament Poker Player’. Ron is one of the big names on the list of professionals who will be addressing the seminars.
Malta Poker Events have created an attractively priced package for the Malta Poker Seminar which also includes entry to a free-roll tournament. This event will give players the chance to put their newly found skills to practice against a broad range of players from different backgrounds. Prizes include entry to tournaments held at the Portomaso Casino, which will be held throughout the week following the seminars.
Malta Poker Events have also scheduled a series of tournaments which will be taking place from the 24th till the 26th April 2009 as part of the ‘Malta ChiliPoker Open 2009’ event. The main event will be televised by local TV network Melita Plc, and aired on the Poker Channel throughout the months of May and June 2009. The event is being hosted at the Portomaso Casino, St. Julians, right in the centre of Malta’s nightlife Mecca.
