After four days of intense competition, the final of the European Masters of Poker first series has drawn to an exciting close. Grubka and Sörensen reached a deal with Grubka taking home trophy and €95,000, and Sörensen following in close second at €88,000. Third prize was taken by Tero Aho at €43,650.

One of the most exciting hands at the final table saw Leo Nordin with pocket 5’s against opponent Joakim Sörensen pocket 8’s. The flop quickly put both players All-in with sets, Sörensen then went on to claim the pot on the river with quad 8’s:
