Mediterranean Poker Cup - Malta Poker Events

Malta will be hosting yet another prestigious Live Poker tournament between the 19th and 26th March 2010. 

 

The Poker Event, which is a joint venture between’ Pryma Gaming’ (Italy), and ‘Poker Club Management’ (Russia) is being hosted at the Portomaso Casino and is part of a series of tournaments taking place as part of the PCM Tour.

 

The schedule is made up of several tournaments with the main event being the €1000 + €100 which includes a 15,000 starting stack.  The main event is scheduled to start on the 20th March 2009.

 

A full event schedule may be found in the Mediterranean Poker Cup listing in our Poker events section.  The listing includes details, stacks, and levels of all the events starting from the €200 + €20 all the way up to the classy €2,750 + €250 event for the professionals in this field.

 

The event is expected to attract over 200 players which will be arriving from several European locations with a large influx of Russian and Italian players.

 

Daily Sit and Go tournaments will also be hosted throughout the action packed poker week and with buy-ins from €50 to €2,000 and will be offered under Texas Hold’em and Omaha rules.

 

Several cash tables will also be opened up with blinds ranging from €1-2 up to €50-100.

 

A school of poker will also be organised for beginners which will be followed by a special tournament.  This educational poker appointment will be held every day between 15:00 and 18:00.
